Join the Write Together at Home Program!
The Write Together at Home Program provides graduate students, professional students, and postdocs with community, structure, and resources to support their writing. This online program is designed to help you establish writing practices and peer writing networks that will sustain your writing throughout the summer.

New Tutoring Service: GenAI Writing
This semester, the English Language Support Office is introducing a tutoring service focused on using Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot).
New Guidance from ELSO on GenAI and Academic Integrity
Cornell’s Code of Academic Integrity states that “a student shall in no way misrepresent his or her work.” Sample violations include “knowingly representing the work of others as one’s own” and “using, obtaining, or providing unauthorized assistance on examinations, papers, or any other academic work.”
ELSO Expands Pronunciation Tutoring Service
The English Language Support Office is now offering a more robust Pronunciation Tutoring Service ever, with eight peer tutors on its staff. This service, established in 2016 by Melissa Myers, helps graduate students, professional students, and postdocs across the university communicate more clearly in the classroom, when giving conference presentations, and during the job search.…
