Want to get some writing done? Maybe you have a project (e.g., class paper, report, application essay) you’ve been putting off? Perhaps you have to make progress on a much larger paper (e.g., thesis, dissertation, research article)? Write-ins provide community support and can be a great way for you to focus and make progress.
During one of ELSO’s online write-ins, the leader will ask everyone what they want to get done. Then everyone will work for about 45 minutes. Finally, you’ll tell everyone if you accomplished your goals.
Anyone in the Cornell community (e.g., graduate students, undergrads, faculty, staff) is welcome to join. Like all ELSO’s services, there are no extra fees.
This semester, we’ll offer two 3-hour blocks of time. You can attend all three hours, or just choose which times work for you:
Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting September 19
Mondays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting September 21
To sign up, go to our scheduling page and choose “Write-ins Fall 26” from the middle dropdown menu. Learn more about write-ins on this page.
