Cornell Tech students can now use English Language Support Office (ELSO) Tutoring!
ELSO offers three tutoring services, all with online appointments:
Pronunciation Tutoring Service: Our experienced, trained peer tutors can help you with a class presentation, job interview, or other oral communication tasks you may have. Make just one appointment or regular ones for ongoing goals.
Presenting & Writing Tutoring Service: Work on any presentation or writing project (e.g., class or conference presentation, application, class assignment, thesis, dissertation) at any stage (e.g., brainstorming, editing, proofreading).
GenAI Writing Tutoring Service: Meet with a tutor for a confidential meeting on any aspect of writing with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) such as when and how to use GenAI tools during the writing process, how to develop effective prompts, how to use these tools to enhance language learning, and how to wean oneself off of the tools.
