Overview
Melissa Myers is a Senior Lecturer who teaches writing and speaking courses to multilingual graduate students. She also directs the Speaking Groups Program and Pronunciation Tutoring. Over the last twenty years, she has taught the English language to students of all ages around the world - in Ecuador, Finland, Mexico, Washington D.C., and served in the Peace Corps for two years in Poland. She has a BA in English from Michigan State University and earned a Master’s of Education in TESOL from the University of Maryland. Her research interests include second language writing, oral communication, and the intersection of language and culture.
