Overview
Astrid is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Cognitive Science. Her research focuses on identifying social tipping points in climate change action by using large language models (LLMs) to simulate artificial subjects. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Armenia and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies of Science from Germany. Previously, she taught English as a second language to Russian-speaking students. She is currently teaching a writing seminar on consciousness at Cornell. Passionate about languages and cultures, she enjoys expanding her multicultural background through travel and exploration.
